20 Important Health Tips

  1. Select fresh foods.
  2. Eat more green vegetables, fruits, and whole grains.
  3. Eat more lean proteins such as seafood, meat, beans, egg white, peas, nuts, and seeds.
  4. Avoid or minimise intake of simple sugars and solid fat.
  5. Minimise intake of salt or choose low-sodium foods.
  6. Avoid fast and processed foods.
  7. Read food labels.
  8. Do not overeat.
  9. Drink adequate water.
  10. Enjoy with your family and friends.
  11. Socialise enough.
  12. Rest and sleep adequately.
  13. Plan your new year and make a good timetable.
  14. Set realistic goals for the new year.
  15. If you have any health problems, do not hesitate to seek medical advice.
  16. Avoid unnecessary tests.
  17. Stop smoking, drinking, and taking illicit drugs.
  18. Do regular exercise for 30-45 minutes a day.
  19. Do not exercise too much.
  20. Walk more and always use the stairs.
